I was Director
of the MRC
Centre from Protein Engineering from 1989 to
2010, with Greg Winter as Deputy Director. The CPE building, which was
linked to LMB was opened in 1989. On my retirement on 30 September
2010, the CPE and nearly all of its staff were incorporated into LMB
and formed the
core of the NMR and Biophysics facilities. I returned home to the
position where I first started my independendent career in
1969, a group leader in LMB. |
