We are interested in a wide set of thematically linked biological questions about intercellular signalling, rhomboid proteases and developmental mechanisms. In practice, this translates into three broad (and overlapping) areas of research:
Understanding the cellular and physiological function of the broader rhomboid-like family, many of which are catalytically inactive.
