Enter the 2011-2012 Competition

Would you like to grow beautiful crystals in class and win the opportunity to visit the laboratories at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge? Then enter this fun competition for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 pupils to promote science in schools.
Entry forms should be received by Tuesday 10th January 2012.

After receiving your entry form we will send you a crystal-growing pack. Pupils have 5 weeks to grow the best-looking crystal of Potash Alum that they can and submit it for judging by March 2012. For an entry fee of £5.00, each participating school will receive a resource pack containing sufficient Alum for one class, and all the necessary instructions. If more packs are needed, please add an additional £7.50 per extra pack.
Key Stage 3 pupils can also grow any crystal of their choice, marks are awarded for originality!
