Aaron Klug. A Scientific Retrospective

It is with much regret that the LMB has decided to cancel the Symposium scheduled for Friday 24th April 2020 due to the wide-spread coronavirus outbreak. We trust you understand this decision and sincerely regret how this may impact your upcoming plans. Once things have settled down we will reschedule the event for 2021.

Women@LMB Symposium

It is with much regret that the LMB has decided to cancel the Symposium scheduled for 12th-13th November 2020 due to the wide-spread coronavirus outbreak. The event, to celebrate women at the LMB from the 1950s to the present day, is being rescheduled for 11th-12th November 2021.

A book on the subject is currently being written by scientific writer and LMB Alumna, Kathy Weston, and is on schedule to be published in November 2020. A book launch, predominately online, is being planned and more details about this and the book will be released nearer the time.

Sydney Brenner Memorial Symposium

A symposium in honour of Sydney Brenner will take place in 2021 or 2022.

Further information on the above events will be added to the Alumni Website as soon as they are available

Scientific Seminars

All Alumni are welcome to attend any of the seminars and talks held at the LMB, details of which can be found on the LMB’s website. All seminars are currently online only, due to the wide-spread coronavirus outbreak.
