This year’s 11th Annual Graduate Student Association Symposium will be jointly organised by postgraduate students at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge and SciLifeLab in Sweden and will take place at the MRC LMB in Cambridge on 13th – 15th September 2017.
The programme brings together talks by high profile and distinguished scientists from a wide range of fields in fundamental biological research, with themed sessions covering structural biology, cancer and disease genetics, cell and developmental biology and neurobiology.
The symposium will begin on the evening of September 13th with a talk from popular science author and neuroscientist Matthew Cobb and continue with a further two days of high-quality research talks from established scientists, postdocs and PhD students, along with opportunities for both scientific discussion and networking during catered lunches, poster sessions and drinks receptions. As in previous years, the symposium will conclude with a subsidised formal dinner, to be held this year at Gonville and Caius College.
Registration is now closed – thank you to all that registered and we look forward to welcoming you to the LMB. Please see the programme for details of running times.
