Title : Life inside an autistic brain
Category : Autism
DC: “I have created a mask out of wire, paper mache and modelling clay which is showing someone who is almost trapped as the wire symbolises the cage like barrier of Autism.
I have also created a visual canvas in which it shows what an Autistic person sees and experiences in different ways to us. The way they pick up on the little things that we don’t really recognize as to us it is just an every day object but to them it’s a life-changing object. These little things fascinate them and are their life and soul.”
Judges comments: “Very sensitive and well thought through, with a great choice of materials.
Nice graphic execution, but does not relate well to the science.”
