Release 1.3 (June 2014)
This release is a big step in the evolution of RELION from a stand-alone refinement program into a convenient pipeline for most of the single-particle analysis. It's main new features are:
- a movie-processing procedure for small (sub-Megadalton) particles
- a template-matching based (semi-)automated particle picking procedure
- a new GUI with image-displaying functionalities. Just click your way through the entire image processing pipeline: so no more "awk" commands to select particles or .csh scripts to group them!
Release 1.2 (June 2013)
Apart from bug fixes and code optimisation, release 1.2 has two new main features:
- a statistical movie-processing procedure
- a semi-automated post-processing procedure (for improved resolution estimates after masking, MTF correction and B-factor sharpening)
