MRC-LMB Crystallisation Facility: consumables

Some of the main consumables can be obtained from Stores: 96-well MRC crystallisation plates, screening kits in tube format and additive screens in plate format.

Other main consumables, such as CrystalClear tape, are provided in the facility. Tips for the robots are ordered separately by the responsible of the Facility. In the eventuality of purchasing consumables for communal purposes, please use the cost centre specific to the crystallisation facility: MC-A021-53017. Please do not abuse this cost centre (!).

Note that crystallisation kits should not be withdrawn from Stores for your own use, even if using your own cost centre number. They are solely reserved for routine preparation of LMB plates. If you plan intensive use of a particular screen, please order it directly from the supplier (links below) with your group's cost centre.

Also not part of the crystallisation facility cost centre are plates/reagents/tubes to prepare optimization screens. Basically, consumables related to optimization experiments must be purchased with your group's cost centre. Although we may have some (free) 48-well MRC MAXI plates available within the facility.
