HF: “For this piece I have used a collograph printing technique. Collaging pieces of string, paper, textured card and other types of materials to create my teenage brain interpretation. I feel this method reflects the given task as there is lots going on similar to a teenage brain. I arranged the materials by looking at cells and detailed microscopic pictures and photographs of the brain and teenage activity. ”
Judges comments: “A little too abstract to convey the scientific message, but very inventive.”
