EH: “My art work is very abstract as it has no image amongst it. I used a range of textures to represent brain cells. I wanted to make it look like all the cells were different so I used a lot of different types of textures from wool to paper. The splashes of paper represent anger spilling out in a teenage brain. In my art work there are a lot of different shapes to represent different activities and feelings that go on in the teenage brain.”
Judges comments: “Good use of textural effects and a nice style to show emotion.”
