IL: “This piece was inspired by my emotions during a time which involved the passing of someone important in my life and the stress which it caused my family and I. To me this was a confusing time as I also had to concentrate on my studies for the final year of A-Levels. With the emotions of all that was happening I was able to reflect this with my work and express my self. I believe that my work is personal to me but also reflects the confusion and the emotional stress that many peers face. I am currently studying photography, health and social care and film studies. I aspire to become a Youth worker and participate in many voluntary clubs and organisations as a mentor and teacher. This includes teaching rookie lifeguards and mentoring children in my college.”
