Title : The heart of the Brain

Category :

IV: “My final piece of art work shows 8 prints (in a format of 2x4), with every other on top of a square of coloured tissue paper. The print tile itself is acually a direct representation of the brain, with a clear outline taking up almost all the space. the background is spongy but is rough in texture. Within the brain outline, there is just one big heart that was printed from corrugated card so it has a slightly bumpy surface. My printing tile is very simple, just portraying the brain within a heart inside. My initial design ideas involved many more parts ie images of food, music and fashion. Overall the heart to me represents love and passion for other hobbies, people and interests.”

Judges comments: “Nice, colourful imagination. The message could be clearer.”
