LW: “I thought of the brain as being a puzzle, because so many things go into making that one thing. I have put loads of symbols and drawings inside the jigsaw pieces to represent thoughts which go through our minds. I didn't add much colour to this drawing in order to make coloured areas stand out. I added a puzzle piece about weather to represent feelings. Sun = Happy, Rain = Upset, Thunder = Angry and Wind = Jealous. I think this is a good way to show the teenage brain a complicated puzzle which is incomplete without all of the pieces. Not everything is good and nobody is perfect, you have to keep working to ensure everything fits together. The brain is a puzzle. ”

I like the idea of the brain reconfiguring and reforming. It conveys the idea of the remodelling process well.”
