AW: “Current courses at AS level are media, photography, English Literature and Language and History. Planning to continue definitely next year for A2;Media and Photography. Within photography I prefer doing mostly macro and portrait. In terms of the piece itself I am entering it was part of my research of how people are covert or hidden by the tattoos that cover their skin, as if its a layer or a wall built to protect themselves from the outside world. Or that people feel the need to create this extra layer to be perceived as 'perfect' by the world we live in today, in particular in the media industry.”
Judges comments: “A good use of photoshop, with nice tones, but no real communication of science.”
