Feline Lindhout, PhD

Feline obtained her PhD from the Utrecht University in the group of Casper Hoogenraad where she investigated axon development and mature axon functioning. Feline is interested in exploring evolutionary aspects of axon development, with a focus on transport dynamics, in health and disease.

We are a team of developmental neurobiologists, using a variety of interdisciplinary tools including stem cells, bioengineering, genetics, transcriptomics, bioinformatics, and gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9). Our mission is to develop and utilise novel technologies to study brain development and evolution in a dish.
