We’re a synthetic biology research group at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge, UK. We develop synthetic genomic approaches to aid in microbiome research. As part of the Protein and Nucleic Acid Chemistry (PNAC) division, our group develops genome engineering tools for the de novo synthesis of gut bacteria, with the ultimate aim of reprogramming the microbiome.
