LB: “For my final piece I wanted to incorporate a variety of emotions teenagers may encounter during their 'teenage years'. My piece of art expresses emotions ranging from feeling 'euphoric' and 'free' to experiencing 'fear' and 'anxiety'. I feel as though there is not one defining emotion that you can really 'pin down' as the ultimate feeling of what you undergo as a teenager, as there are so many. The use of the bold words and colours sprawled out across the page amongst the jumble of the small coloured dots, is there to represent the strong emotions you feel whilst going through the changes in your complicated and bemusing life, that is being a teenager.”
