Title : Life inside an autistic brain

BC: “I decided to base my piece on Alzheimer’s Disease and how it affects the brain. I made 3 faces out of mod-rock which represent the different stages you go through when you get this illness. I used the colours orange, green & blue and gave my subjects a dark skin colour to represent myself as an artist.
I found this project very enjoyable and I learnt many new things about the brain and the human body as well as new artistic techniques.”
Judges comments: “Work engaged well with the science theme. Would love to have seen further exploration of ways of linking and integrating the 3d elements of the piece with the brain scan images.”
