AD: “My work is based on how people can forget their memories and I try to explain what memory is. I chose to use one memory – history, so I drew an old city with old buildings and stick pictures of new statues and towers, like the Statue of Liberty or Big Ben. In my work I wanted to show how memory goes to the brain, so there is a road on the back of my drawing. Also, I used flowers to represent memory growing in the brain.”
Judges comments: “Demonstrates a lot of artistic and technical skill. Needs further exploration into how to articulate the science.”
