AH: “My piece is about the brain of the teenager in how it is complex and constantly changing, My piece explores the idea of the teenage brain by literally having a piece of the teenage brain as the main attraction, I have used shading and pencil sketching to bring out definition in the 3D shape.”
Judges comments: “The artist, with a job use of shading, has done a fantastic job of creating a work that seems to morph and change in front of our eyes. Illustrating well the large changes in the brain that happen during our teenage years.”
