LS: “My piece, titled “HELP!”, is about how many teenagers are always in the constant struggle for help and often get lost and find it hard to find any. The damaged and worn effect of the medium represents how many teenagers feel depressed, run down and empty. I have chosen poster paint and colour pencil on card as my medium. The poster paint is a simple wash over the card, not meeting the edges, leaving a grungy feel. The pencil turns out to be almost grainy which adds to the grungy and damaged effect.”
