Meet The Munro Lab

Sean has been a group leader at the LMB since 1989, and the in his lab has addressed protein retention in the Golgi, cannabinoid receptors, protein glycosylation, doubting lipid rafts, Rab and Arf GTPases, and vesicle tethering.

Al did a PhD at Bath University on Glut4 traffic, and over many years in the Munro lab has made numerous key findings in Golgi organisation. 

Carmen studied at UCL, and after a PhD on autophagy and viruses is now investigating Golgi protein retention.

After a PhD at the LMB, and a postdoc on connectomics, Rosa is applying expansion microscopy to Drosophila tissues.

Charlotte studied at UEA and is now doing a PhD on the role of golgins in brain organoids.

Nikita studied in Moscow and Manchester, and after a PhD on protein misfolding in the ER is now studying the Golgi unknome. 

Shubham studied in NISER in India and is now doing a PhD on the Golgi in Drosophila neurons.
