Lalita Ramakrishnan’s group from the University of Cambridge Molecular Immunity Unit, based in the LMB, is working to understand the pathogenesis of tuberculosis (TB) using zebrafish as a model organism. TB infection results in the formation of granulomas and this confocal image for day 165 of #LMB365 shows a nascent TB granuloma containing macrophages (green) and Mycobacterium marinum (red).
