Jim Watson was born on this day in 1928. He joined the MRC Unit in Cambridge in 1951, where he met and began working with Francis Crick. He was just 25 when together they revealed the structure of DNA, for which they were awarded the 1962 @NobelPrize for Physiology or Medicine.
