Simon Elsässer is the 2023 recipient of the Svedberg Prize from the Swedish National Committee for Molecular Biosciences and the Swedish Society for Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology. The award recognises his contributions to our understanding of epigenetic gene regulation. Simon was a postdoctoral scientist in Jason Chin’s group in the LMB’s PNAC Division, and is now a Group Leader at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.
