William Schafer elected Fellow of Royal Society

This year’s Royal Society fellows include LMB group leader William Schafer and alumna Sarah Teichmann. The Royal Society is a Fellowship of the world’s most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.

Paul Dear, former Group Leader in the LMB’s PNAC Division, died on Wednesday 11th March 2020. Paul was most interested in developing new methods and technologies to improve research and information gathering, particularly in genomics.
