Elaine is currently the Rebecca C. Lancefield Professor of Mammalian Cell Biology and Development at the Rockefeller University, New York, USA. She has been an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute since 1988. LMB staff have raised over £1500 for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust at the annual charity Christmas raffle, supported by the sale of Christmas decorations and gifts made by members of the LMB Craft and Chatter group and of a festive beer made by the LMBrewers. Each year a charity is chosen because of the support they have provided to members of staff or their families.
